Proper nutrition is the single most important factor in your overall health and fitness. Whether your goals are to take your athletic pursuits to the next level or to lose weight, CrossFit Burleson will now be offering additional nutritional services to help you reach your goals. Remember that achieving your goals is going to consistent of 30% of the work you put in the gym and 70% of what you do outside it.
Nutrition Consultation (1-hr): ($50)
If you are a do-it-yourself kind of person, but you need a little initial guidance, this is the service for you! During this one-hour consultation, we will assess your goals (athletic, aesthetic, etc.), and then give recommendations as to which diet (Paleo, Zone, Primal, etc.) may work best for you. We will provide tips on how to best incorporate the diet into your current lifestyle, as well as some options for food journaling/tracking
In addition, during this initial assessment/consult, we will test your body fat percentage and take “before” measurements and pictures if you would like.
Food Review & Coaching: ($150/month)
If you are someone who is more successful at sticking to a plan with someone watching over your shoulder, then this is the service for you! For a 30 day period, you would record everything that you eat in a food log (www.myfitnesspal.com or a similar service), and your personal coach will keep a close eye on what you are eating. Your coach will send you weekly emails to provide feedback and ideas of changes to make. During this 30 day period, your coach will be available via email or phone to answer any questions you might have or to help talk you out of eating that delicious cupcake sitting in front of you.
Meal Plans: ($50/week)
Do you want to start eating right, but you don’t know where to start? Is your schedule so busy that the thought of planning out your meals for the week is just too much to handle? Well, let us do it for you! For just $50, we will plan out 7 day’s worth of meals for you, so all you have to do is follow the instructions. These meal plans will be customized to your specific goals and will include main meals, snacks and pre and post workout meals.
Kitchen Cleanse – ($50/hour)
If you are looking to convert over to the Paleo/Primal lifestyle, but there are boxes of cookies, pasta and whole wheat crackers hiding in your pantry, this is the service for you! Kitchen Sweep is a service offered by one of our CrossFit Burleson Coaches. During this session, you will clean out your food supply, learn what foods you should have on hand at all times, receive a Paleo/Primal/Zone consultation, and take a trip to the grocery store with your kitchen sweep coach.
The Kitchen Cleanse Package will include the following:
- Cleaning out your refrigerator, freezer, and pantry
- A nutritional consultation
- Learn how to write a proper shopping list and weekly meal plan
- Trip to the Grocery Store with your personal coach
- *OPTIONAL: Assistance with 1 week of Meal Prep to be done at your house
