Bio
I am the newest coach at CrossFit Burleson, and I could not be more excited to continue my journey in the CrossFit community as a Coach as well as an athlete.
My passion for fitness started in middle school when I began playing football in seventh grade. I was a smaller kid when I began and I immediately was drawn to the weight room to try and improve my skills as well as be a better athlete. I chose not to pursue football into college and instead decided to earn my Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. I stayed active with my fitness but missed not competing in a team sport any longer. I decided to train for and compete in a bodybuilding show in my early twenties. I stuck with that type of training for quite a while until I became a Police Officer in 2017 when I then transitioned my training to more functionality and endurance styles to help me in that career.
I found CrossFit 2 years ago after leaving policing and I immediately fell in love with the training style as well as the community aspect. I then obtained my CrossFit Level 1 certification in the summer of 2022 and I am excited to be putting it to use now as a Coach at CFB. I love getting to coach as well as participate in workouts with all our members and our future members!
